We were craving a hearty Filipino breakfast this morning and decided to try their food, and it was totally worth it! We ordered the lechon kawali, daing, beef tapa and chicken inasal. We had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt friendly and welcoming. The owner was incredibly kind and genuinely cared about every guest that came through the door. One moment that really stood out to me was when a homeless man came in — it was clear the owner knew him, and without hesitation, she treated him with so much kindness and dignity. It showed how much heart this place has, not just for their customers but for the community too. The food was absolutely delicious! They have every kind of tapa you can think of — the menu is packed with options, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. On top of all that, the customer service was amazing. You can tell they really care about giving people a great experience. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The best silog in Toronto! My friend and I loved this Filipino vibe place with friendly owner and servers. I would recommend their “Jeprox silog” as it’s my favorite though today we tried different, we had tocino, danggit and hotdog for a change. Perfect sunny side up egg!
I was craving some filipino food for a while- and I am glad I found this hidden gem! We ordered the crispy pork and filipino sausage. A bit greasy, but they both hit the spot. Very kind staff; I believe it is a family owned business. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items!!! Btw we parked at the plaza next door.
Amazing food and even better service. Whenever I am craving a good old fashioned Filipino breakfast, I will go to Top Silog. Pork Ticino is my go to and the sisig was the perfect amount of crispiness. 10/10
I have been eating at this place for so long and I really recommend their food, my favorite is their pares, I even contracted them to cater our 10th year anniversary and our guests was so happy. Highly recommended and owners are really nice and so easy to deal with. Excellent food, very nice and accommodating owners with awesome customer service.
If you live in North York and are looking to try out something different from the typical diner style breakfasts, Top Silog is a great option. They serve Filipino breakfast all day and we ordered the Beef Tapa Silog and Lechon Kawali Silog. We are no experts in Filipino cuisine, but can confirm a spoonful of meat, sticky rice, fried egg and pickled papaya was the perfect bite. And if you are not too particular about the number of sugars/creams in your coffee, definitely try their 3 in 1 Kopiko coffee. You will love it especially if you grew up enjoying Kopiko candy like we did. However, the highlight was how the hostess made us feel like we were at her home! She was super warm and funny too! We left with our hearts and bellies full!
